Exploring QlikView

There is presently a lot of buzz around QlikView and many people making great claims about what it has done for their business. The QlikView page on this site gives some information about this. However, after looking at all the case studies, videos, demonstrations and other promotional material that is out there you may still be left asking “But what can it do for me?”.

This is why QlikTech promote the idea of a Seeing is Believing session, or SiB. These are short proof of concept building exercises where a skilled consultant will visit your site discuss your requirements and build something that addresses a need within your business. We are confident that once you have seen your own data loaded into QlikView that you will then fully appreciate what it can offer.

Typically these proof of concepts are built on the Personal Edition of QlikView, which is completely free to download and use – but is limited to a single machine. No data leaves your network in order to build the proof of concept and anything that is built remains on site and is yours to continue to gain value from after the SiB is complete. If you wish to make the proof of concepts available to more individuals within your organisations trial licence keys for the server product can be obtained, which will allow the proof of concept to be viewed in a web browser.

A seeing is believing session can take between one and three days, depending on the amount of data that wants to be incorporated into the original proof of concept and how robust the proof of concept needs to be.
