Many of you will know that I was one of the technical review team on QlikView 11 For Developers, the essential guide for those building QlikView applications.  The same team have again joined forces to create a new book – the QlikView For Developers Cookbook.

QlikView for Developers Cookbook

Where the first book is a guide that you can turn to when you need to get something in your application working correctly the cookbook invites you to take your development off road.  Authored by Stephen Redmond (who also writes the excellent QlikTips blog) each “recipe” gives you step by step instructions to create something that you may not have even considered attempting before.  There are also ingenious solutions to solving problems that you may well have already encountered and been stumped by.  Among the pages of this book I am sure you will discover techniques that will become part of your every-day development tool-kit.

The bite sized chunks that this book is divided up into means you can simply pick it up, find something that takes your interest and then in fifteen minutes have followed the instructions to give you a working example.

As well as Stephen authoring the book, the technical review team were all well known names on the QlikView blogging scene; Barry Harmsen, Miguel Garcia, Ralf Becher and (am I very pleased to say) myself.

The book is published by Packt Publishing and can be purchased from their website here.
