“Like many developers, I knew of Steve from following his tutorials over the years and I had no doubt about his expertise. The course was intensive, challenging and fun. It was invaluable to get Steve’s advice on my own data challenges.””
James Newton, QlikView Developer, March 2018
We will be getting to know QlikView and looking at bringing in data from a number of different data sources. We will explore data modelling in QlikView and set up a template ready for displaying data in a consistent format across tabs.
Here we will introduce the many features in QlikView for displaying data and talk about which ones are most appropriate for different audiences. We will implement an application using the D.A.R. (Dashboard-Analysis-Report) methodology.
To take your applications beyond what you can do with point and click wizards requires scripting and advanced expressions. We look at some of the methods of transforming data during load time and when being presented back to the user.
We will roll up some of what has already been presented and will potentially cover features such as Set Analysis and QlikView Security for those who wish to tackle those topics.
Learn with one of the UK’s leading Qlik developers.
